The day was successful in many ways in addition to the painting of the classrooms, lunchroom and some of the Angelus House. I find it amazing that in less than 4 hours with 25 volunteers this was accomplished - beyond our expectation. Al Lee made a connection with a young man who went to HR for a few years before moving and has volunteered to help out with the REACH Program. It was also a good way to promote and make HR known to more people. The PECO volunteers could not have been nicer and so willing to help. Several commented they would help again. Again, Al, Phil Eng and relief pitcher George Luis were so instrumental in ensuring such a great event. Their generosity of time and effort beforehand and on the day are very much appreciated and certainly would not have happened without them.
