Philosophy of Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic School
 
          The purpose of Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic School is the evangelization and education of Asian Americans and immigrants of Asian descent throughout the Philadelphia area.  Sharing this common bond and a spirit of joyful, loving service, the students will live and witness Christ’s values of love, peace, and justice.  We at Holy Redeemer strive to develop the well-balanced child and endeavor to meet the spiritual, personal, social, physical, and academic needs of each student.  Our goal is to provide a safe, student-centered, positive environment to ensure the development and well-being of the whole child.  We strive to assist students as they adapt to American society while maintaining their cultural identity and values.
 
          The growth of the child begins with parents as primary educators.  The relationships among students, teachers, and parents are of paramount importance to experience a loving Christ-like atmosphere.  We strive to shape knowledgeable, upstanding young people who will be witnesses to Christ throughout their lives.  Through high academic and moral standards, we will facilitate the actualization of each child’s full potential.  Holy Redeemer students will be prepared to become contributing members of society, able to succeed in an ever-changing world.
