Holy Redeemer School was recognized by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education for the 3rd year in a row for Distinguished Instruction in Growth for school year 2023.
Holy Redeemer School was recognized again by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education in both Growth and Exceeding Potential for the school year 2022.
Holy Redeemer graduated 21 students on June 8, 2023.
Of the graduates, 8 are scheduled to go to catholic High School, 7 are going to magnet public high schools including 2 to Julia R. Masterman High School, one to Central High School, 2 to Academy of Palumbo, and one to the Maritime Academy Charter High School. One student will be attending a suburban high school.
Eight students received the US President's Education Award - 4 for Educational Excellence, 4 for Educational Achievement
Shelly Lai was recognized as Valedictorian at Little Flower High School.
Three of our 2018 graduates received scholarships from AAWC (Asian American Women's Coalition) totalling $8000 - one a 4 year scholarship, the others a one year scholarship.
-Amanda Chen, class of 2019, the 4 year Cecilia Moy Yep scholarship. Amanda will be attending University of Pennsylvania majoring in Biology where she also received a full scholarship.
-Sydney Huynh and Brianna Luong, class of 2019, Merit Scholarships. Sydney will be attending Temple University and majoring in Psychology. Brianna will be attending Jefferson Hospital University for Nursing.
